The Nitty-Gritty of Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is special. It is different from green, black and oolong teas in that it can be made from practically any plant and any part of that plant. Many are made from roots, flowers, berries, bark, seeds and so forth. This page will tell you all about each type, as well as its benefits and some tips on how to brew it.
You can make tea in a number of different ways.
We have compiled a number of basic tips on our "How to Brew" page, so be sure to check it out!
Listed below in alphabetical order are the herbs we have come to know and love. Some of them have funny sounding names and at first I didn't know what to think of them! But I am curious by nature, so I tried them out and got to know them. You can too, so don't be afraid to try something new no matter how strange it might seem!
For example, my mom and I were pleasantly surprised to find out that parsley makes a delicious tea when before we had only used it as a garnish.
There are lots more discoveries to make about herbs, so click the links and read on! And make sure to check back often, because we are always adding to the list.
